As you may or may not know, I actually started my novel, The Hawk and The Hunter, a few years ago. Oddly enough, I was running with my cousin through the woods, which are on a slight incline, when I twisted my ankle. That single event inspired my book.
Well inspiration comes and goes and for the last year it has been severely lacking. I haven't been able to write anything new and I don't like what I've already written but can't seem to edit it to my satisfaction. Thankfully NaNo gave me the needed spark to get back at it!
So I've been working back over my manuscript. It takes more time and work than the first writing does, but it's worth it and so far, I'm happy with what I've done.
